I am a sociologist and a demographer (PhD, University of Wisconsin-Madison), currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Demographic Studies in the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. My research is motivated by questions about the relationship between population dynamics and gender inequality in unpaid work (e.g., housework and caregiving) and time use. I am particularly interested in the intersection of gender and life course. In other research venues, I also study the consequences of family complexity for parents and children and the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic for dating. My work was published in the Journal of Marriage and Family, Population Research and Policy Review.
