Sóc Doctora en Psicologia Clínica i Psicobiologia per la Universitat de Santiago de Compostel·la, cuitat on he nascut i crescut. He realitzat la meva formació postdoctoral en salut pública, concretament focalitzada en recerca sobre el consum del tabac i les disparitats sanitàries relacionades amb aquest, en dos centres dels Estats Units: al Tobacco Research & Intervention Program (TRIP) en el Moffitt Cancer Center (Tampa, Florida) y en el Health Promotion Research Center (antiguamente OTRC), en el University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center del Stephenson Cancer Center (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma)
Actualment gaudeixo de l'oportunitat de participar com a investigadora en el projecte dirigit pel Dr. Iñaki Permanyer Healthy lifespan inequality: Measurement, trends and determinants (HEALIN), un Consolidator Grant finançat per la Unió Europea dins del programa H2020 (ERC-2019-COG-864616). Els meus interessos de recerca actuals se centren en les desigualtats sanitàries, amb especial èmfasi en les desigualtats sanitàries i el tabaquisme.
